Eagle Bay began construction of the traditional homes in 2006 and was still building a few homes in 2017. The homes are attractive and the community is in a good location. Eagle Bay is northwest of East Lake Tohopekaliga and only a short drive to the Florida Turnpike or the 417.

The amenities are centrally located and have adequate parking. The waterfront homes are actual waterfront. There is no sidewalk around the ponds for exercise or walking.
The townhomes are all on the eastern side near Fl-530 and there are not that many of them compared to the size of Eagle Bay. The townhomes are all under 1,800 square feet and the newest ones were built in 2015. Construction dates matter because of transferable warranties mandated by Florida law on new construction.
