Meadow Ridge in Ocoee FL is a gated community of 150' ish homes. It is a very nice subdivision and has a community pool. The Pool overlooks the communities only body of water which is a large pond with 23 homes overlooking it. Not that many homes come up for sale in Meadow Ridge. I think that they have figured out that for the price of a home in that community compared to the location, it is a keeper.

The oldest home I am aware of in Meadow Ridge is a 2002. Most of the community was built between 2007 and 20012. That is good news. The standards are a little higher in today's market. The open floor plans and looking from the kitchen over the living room to the outdoors really started being popular around 2008-2010. I believe that trend will stay popular for quite a while. The homes that are for sale in Meadow Ridge all look really nice for the price. Take a close look at the photos and the information. Whenever you can buy a 3 car garage nearly 4000 square foot home for $400,000 ish in a location as good as Meadow Ridge has it is worth looking at.  

Meadow Ridge public schools

The Schools for this community are Thornebrooke Elementary, Gotha Middle School and Olympia High School. We will confirm this if it is a deal breaker for you if they change. Meadow Ridge shopping

Shopping is of course a breeze. Publix CVS and many other necessities are less than 1 mile away. Not to mention pretty good BBQ and the Fire station. If you want a more upscale shopping experience you can visit the Grove, the Winter Garden Village or the shops in Dr. Phillips. All are within minutes even with traffic. Getting on the Florida Turnpike is also fairly easy. Just go due North and in about 4 miles you will see the the on ramp.

If you're a golfer Iselworth and The Golden Bear Club are just a few minutes away. If you would rather not spend that much there are multiple choices within 30 minutes. However you are in a place famous for lakes. Hopefully after you buy your dream home you will enjoy the lakes. You can rent boats here or there are plenty of places nearby to store yours.
