Lake Bessie in Windermere Fl

Lake Bessie is Located in Windermere Florida. The Northernmost point of Lake Bessie is Johnson Park between East 6th and East 7th avenue. Specifically where 6th and 7th meet. 4400 feet to the South you have Isleworth and lakefront homes on Fairway Oaks Dr. and Champion's Point Rd. The East side is also Isleworth. Lakefront homes are on Chestnut Ridge Dr. and Latrobe Dr. The West side of Lake Bessie is not a gated community once you are North of Isleworth. There is a boat ramp as shown in the slides below. I really like lake Bessie. The homes are very nice no matter where you buy. All of the residents on the Northwest side spoke to me and were very cordial.

Lake Bessie has 164 acres of surface area. A little more than 1/4th of a square mile. The mean depth is 17 feet which is about average for a lake this size. Lake Blanche has a mean depth of 27 feet. That is unusually deep.

Lake Bessie has around 60 lakefront lots and homes on it. Some of the lots are surveyed in such a way that they could be considered lakefront. Or the owners may have title to both sides of the road making it, pretty much lakefront.

In the last year only 2 waterfront homes have sold on Lake Bessie. They were both in Isleworth. One sold for $3,500,000 and on from $1,470,000. There are 3 for sale on Lake Bessie as I write this. All in Isleworth. If you walk or drive around in Windermere on Lake Bessie you see a lot of updating in that neighborhood. Mostly on the non lakefront homes. The Streets are not very great. Some of them wash out. However there are some beautiful homes and cars in the neighborhood.
