The Town of Ocoee

Ocoee is a favorite by many FL residents. The latest Us Government Census has the population at 45,000 people. The reason many of those people chose Ocoee was the cost of living. A home in Ocoee cost much less than some of the surrounding cities. However Ocoee still has its' own mall, its own Hospital and some beautiful lakes. Not to mention quick access to the 429 and the turnpike enabling residents to be in downtown Orlando or visiting the famous local theme parks in a matter of 15-20 minutes. You can do everything in your own home town or be in one of the popular places quickly.  After buying a home in Ocoee Commons if you are sitting around with nothing to do, it is by choice.

About Ocoee Commons

Ocoee Commons consists of 75 homes. Normally there is 1 home for sale here and 5 to 6 homes sell every year. The West Oaks Mall is just East and the hospital is just to the South. Across the street from the hospital is a Super Walmart. Ocoee Commons is in a great home if you want to go places or just hang out around your home. There also is a community playground as you enter from SR 50.

Local public schools

Ocoee Elementary, Ocoee Middle School and Ocoee High School. Always confirm the schools with the county when looking at a home for sale. Information changes. If it is important to you I will check it. Or I can search for homes that are for sale by school zone. I am very familiar with the county website. I do not ever use the MLS for finding out which schools provide local education for a home or neighborhood.

For the HOA expect around $400 per year. It will vary and there are restrictions. I will get you all the information you want upon request.
