Homes for sale in East Orlando are located in the area of the Orlando International Airport. Some are surprised to see just how far east of the airport that Orlando extends. But then again Orlando has some fairly unique boundaries as well as parts of the city.
The most popular portions of East Orlando are no doubt Lake Nona, Randal Park and Avalon Park. Of those three Lake Nona leads the way into the future being the most modern part of all of Orlando. Randal Park is growing fairly rapidly and so is Avalon Park. Choosing a home for sale in East Orlando in one of these locations will put you in a great place to live with shopping, dining and many other things to do all around you.
The prices of the homes for sale in East Orlando will vary quite a bit. You will likely pay a little more in the areas I suggested above but the homes there will also be newer. newer homes and higher property takes most commonly relate to better schools. Also expect to see not only a HOA but quite possibly a CDD in some areas. The CDD will show up as an additional property tax and is to maintain the roads etc.
Commuting in East Orlando can be problematic. If you plan on traveling far east, north or south you will likely be paying a toll. I use the 417 quite often and it is a love hat relationship. Sometimes it is awesome and sometimes not so much. Have no fear you will learn the timing and best routes soon. Hopefully you will be staying locally and never have to travel far at all. Below for you convenience are all of the homes for sale in East Orlando FL.
