Parking options are all around Lake Eola Park. There is some street parking which you pay by using your phone. If you are headed to the park during a special event you can still find parking but it may be in a parking lot or garage a little further away.

Tips For Parking In Downtown Orlando

Don't always look for a parking garage. Although parking garages are almost always available typically there are plenty of parking spaces near the park itself. Often, actually very often during special events businesses will open their parking lots for a fee which is far less than in parking garages. You will see many signs saying park here. A word to the wise, beautiful nice weather means get to the park in advance during events as the area gets packed.

Parking At Thornton Park Condominium

Another little known secret and just 2 blocks from Lake Eola Park. It is usually only $17 for 4-24 hours of parking here and it is gated. Just make sure and not park in a reserved spot. There is even room for full sized trucks like mine. Florida parks are great and the city of Orlando knows visitors to them matter.

The Thornton Park side of Lake Eola Park has quite a few parking lots which open up on Sundays for the Orlando Farmer's Market. Many of these are watched by someone giving admission and usually the police are out in force. I have parked this way for $6 all day and I paid the attendant with my phone and they provide a receipt immediately. I do not think they will take checks

Free Parking Garage Near Lake Eola Park

I am going to suggest you pass on free parking among your plans. It fills up quickly and your time is more valuable than free parking. Park in a secure lot or garage where you pay $10 on average and most likely your car will be fine when you return. I feel a little more nervous when I park over by the Amway Center westward. Drive around over there and you will see what I mean. Stick with parking on or around Church Street, Orange Avenue, Central Blvd, Robinson St, Pine St or Rosalind Ave in Orlando.
